Because kelly-green is one of the few colors that actually looks sensible on us redheaded freaks, I'm always excited when their St. Patrick's edition stuff comes out in the spring. I saw a thermal and made up my mind to get it for myself as a birthday gift next month.
Keep in mind, there is NO MENTION in the catalog of any of this stuff only being available for certain teams. They just implied that it was there for all teams. So when I checked the website to see how much it would be with shipping, surprise surprise...no Blue Jackets version available. As usual.
You know, Rick Nash is great and all and he does seem like a really nice guy, but if you're a Blue Jackets fan and you don't want a #61 jersey you're pretty much fucked. I don't know how they fill up a store with stuff because it's just a few variations on a very limited theme. The only special edition anything I've ever gotten is a green 2008 puck, and that's because it was easy enough for them to slap a Blue Jackets sticker on it.
As far as they're concerned, if you're not an Original 6 fan, who cares and fuck you. I realize they're trying to make a profit but how will they ever know if the stuff sells if it's never available?
I mean, it's not like I'm asking for a fucking Danny Gare bobblehead.
The boyfriend got dicked over by them at Christmas when he tried to get me a hoodie. They told him it was out of stock and that they would give him a refund, then suddenly shipped it and charged him. Which was fine, but almost caused a problem planningwise.
Stupid fucking place burns me everytime.
