Hell no! Guitar Wolf is legend. Most of their material is produced way too loud for me to really enjoy, but live they were an amazing band. And just too damn cool.
As for movies I'd recommend:
- Cure (Kyua), Pulse (Kairo) - both japanese 'horror' but not really... more like psychological thrillers, but that label doesn't do them justice
- anything by Takeshi Kitano
- Shinjuku Triad Society, Dead or Alive - yakuza/gangster flicks
- Menace II Society, New Jersey Drive - inner city/gangster
- Interstella 5555 - full length anime movie to Daft Punk's Discovery
