My own fault...I told him that I had some numb spots on my back from spinal surgery nerve damage, so he didn't bother anesthetizing me. Turns out that either a) if the spot was numb, it was not numb enough, or b) he found a spot that was not at all numb.
He slapped a band-aid on it and sent me on my way. It's not so very much, but it feels like a large welt backed by a bruise.
Still, better that than some iffy spot on my skin going all melanoma on me, because that's way worse.
