Ad-Aware
SpyBot
SpySweeper
SpywareBlaster
CWShredder

I have all of these with updated definitions and I've ran 'em in safe mode, and I was still getting pop-ups 'n shit on my computer this morning. Anybody have suggestions other than taking a sledgehammer to my 'puter?

Stop visiting i-mockery.com and other sites that give you pop-ups! :O

Seriously though, you probably aren't blocking flash pop-ups, which have become increasingly more popular.

Google the unknowns on the list of the programs that are running.

These pop-ups were being generated when I'm not even browsing the web. I would just be staring at my desktop without any programs open, and then all of a sudden IE would open itself with a pop-up. For a while it was like that Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode where the pop-ups just kept coming. :o

I think I might've gotten rid of 'em this morning, but I had to leave for work so I won't know until I get home.

Its probably the adware that I have called VirtuMonde. It makes pop ups happen constantly and nomatter what I use- norton, adaware, online scans- it always misses it and can't get rid of it. The worse part is that it keeps installing more programs, and they are invinicible too it seems.

I run:

Adware
PC-Cillin <3
MS Spyware Beta

Zero popups. No bs. Get rid of adaware, it's useless now. I've heard on good word that Lavasoft has been bought out by the makers of Adware (for obvious name similarity reasons).

get rid of adaware to run some program called "adware"? sounds brilliant.
