I used to do that sometimes at Safeway. We had this outstanding chair that would spin really fast and roll really really fast. I snuck it into the front office so I could use it. I also took out the rubber pads on the floor so I could roll from counter to counter very quickly.

I used to have to go around the store with a handheld device and scan every tag that was an out-of-stock. One time I did it after the store closed, on the motorized handicapped cart. Only the low-level out of stocks got counted since I didn't even bother to stand up to reach the top shelves. I tried doing a few "drive-by" scans, but the handheld was too shitty.

When I was 17 I worked at the information booth at my mall and did volunteer work at this elementary school(So senior year of high school I had work 1 week then volunteer custodian the next) It was a lot of sitting around being bored so I made it through the entire Dragonlance series in a year.

I was doing some temp work when Michael Jackson died, and the whole office spent the day making bad puns about his death featuring song titles. That was surprisingly entertaining.

Yeah I like get stoned before I'm about to check people's vitals and before like I draw their blood. It's so funny watching them get scared.

Doing some programming for a newly founded game company. Right now we're trying to finish off the code of an asian game company and it's a goddamn boring mess trying to figure it out.

Before the place shut down, it was irc when I was doing mundane tasks. That and the time in our old office a co-worker and myself used the copier and stale doughnuts for bb gun target practice.

The last time I had fun at work was when a friend and I played "Forklift Jousting", which is two forklifts (forks raised up halfway) driving full speed towards each other. First person to swerve loses.

Technically it's playing chicken but Forklift Jousting sounds so much better.

At my last warehouse job we used to race pallet jacks in the parking lot. That and use those big ass carts for bob sleds.
