Can't you just call yourself jerry or whatever your first name is? Then ask the forum gods that be to allow you to keep your post count. That's the most important thing. Keep the post count no matter what your moniker.

Ah, well I shouldn't talk, mine is an old D&D character name. I've been using my real name on forums lately but it was already taken here. Names are hard to decide on though.

Ok, that last one is more life-size. Still looks good to me. When you show me one that's so blown up I can see skin cells is when I'll possibly change my mind.
