Does anyone remember this show

[Captain Robo]

I watched it a couple of times when I was a kid, and now it's kinda coming back to me and I want to remember what it was.

The show was a cartoon abot this black guy who wore a pinstriped suit and had two magical talking shoes that when put on would give the wearer special powers (when this happened, a transformation sequence with musical notes flying everywhere occurred).

The show also starred a couple of cops and their leader (I think he was) who always wore these sunglasses and would always push them down below his eyes (so you could see them) when he talked to someone... I guess he thought it was cool or something.

Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if anyone remembers this show.

I think that was the MC Hammer cartoon. It wasn't on much in Canada, but I remember it a little bit.
