WHAT!?! Ziggy, don't you know that these internwt tests can totally get inside your head, break down your personality and truly know what a person truly believes? All the philosiphers and philosiphies on this list strove for and fell short of this knowledge! Think how lucky we are to live in the age of the internet! You anser the questions and it tells you which philosiphy is most related to your own personal style! What could be more legitimate, especially since you can't see the rubric?

God! Next thing you know you'll be telling me my Lord of the Rings Charracter isn't Pippin!

we all had to take these sorts of tests in governor's school (my favorite summer nerd camp ever) and then a buddy and i did our science fair project that next year on the meyers-briggs personality type indicator and it's correlation to the declared interests of the students at our school (it was a science/arts magnet school).

anyway, nothing like bullshitting your way thru a bullshit project and then being told how GREAT is was - i don't recall if we won, i think we did, but i seem to remember thinking there were a couple projects that were much better than ours.

as for the LotR test, i dunno man, i got Pippen too, even tho I answered "no" to "do you wish you had pointed ears?"

I just think it's cute that braniac OAO places any interest, let alone faith, in an internet multiple choice personality quiz. Does he even have any idea how the test is scored? Maybe it's just a random generator, like the one Chojin made up for my "Hallloween Costume" quiz.

HEY! OAO! WHAT KIND OF A TOOL ARE YOU?

take my internet quiz, there's only one question.

I think Internet polls
A.) Are revealing of ones thougt process
B.) Usually prove I'm better than other people who take them
C.) Give me a Boner
D.) Are informative if they're about elitist stuff I memorized so I can feel superior to other people but mean shit all nothing if they're about Star Wars.

Okay, got your answer? Think it real hard now, and I'll score you!

YOU ARE AN A#1 SERIOUS TOOL!

Okay now try again, but this time pick a different answer!

YOU ARE AN A#1 SERIOUS TOOL!

How about that! And you know what? I guarantee my results!

Who says I take these things seriously? I just thought it was interesting.

In actuality, I don't think that the quiz is comprehensive enough. I had to kinda go with the best fit on many of the questions rather than what I really think.

is it difficult typing with one hand while stroking your intellect with the other?

In what way (aside from self confirmation and congratulation) did you find it interesting? Do you think it's more 'interesting' than a 'what Harry Potter character are you?'

Or did you think because it allowed you to drop big intellectual names and imply that you were well enough versed in all the philosiphers and terms mentioned to find the results 'interesting'?

My point? It's the damn same as all these quizes. What it means is you are a geek on the subject, and that your interest in it is no more dignified (or less, to be fair) than a slaveish little trekkie thrilled to near orgasm to discover he's a "Spock" and not a "Yeoman Rand".

Finally your facade is pierced. "Whatever, Man." Unzip the rubber intellectual suit and beneath is revealed the oh so average 'dude' beneath, yearning to be 'special'.

Whateverman should be your new name.

Accept it and become less loathsome.

Captain James T. Kirk

Charasmatic tatical leader/ egotistical womanizer. Your arrogant cowboy mentality is forgiven because of your deep concern for those close to you.

Your middle name is Tiberius.

You are an outcast learning to cope and understand the ways of those around you. Your blunt honesty and intellectual capacity cause others to mistake you for egotistical...when really, you ARE just smarter than everyone else.
