Man, I remember my roommate pulling out his own wisdom tooth in the bathroom with pliers. I couldn't watch. Fucking no insurance and tooth pain leads you to do stupid shit.

This weekend I was at the point of thinking about pulling my last wisdom tooth with pliers. It's impacted, slightly infected, partially erupted, and growing in sideways. I just stepped on my broken ankle weird and my bones felt like rocks grinding against each other. It really fucking sucked for a second there but now it feels ok.

thats pretty cool i thought oxycodone was really hard to get unless you go to crook pain doctors. maybe since they started coating it in that stuff that makes you sick or whatever its easier to get ;/

My sister used to work at a hospital in town before she moved to Montana. Every single time some stupid kid came in all goofed up on oxy she would call me up and scream "IF YOU EVER DO THAT SHIT ILL KILL YOU!"

Yeah, I'm not sure how you got oxy that easily. When I got my wisdom tooth pulled, I only got some T3s, and I still have most of them. I used a couple for severe hangovers!

We always knew the oxycontin addicts when they would show up at the ER with vague "toothaches" and make a speedy exit when the doctor offered a nerve block shot.

In other news, I must be having an uncoordinated month because I whacked the back of my hand hard on an oven handle and I think I must have nailed the tendon. I have a big white lump on the back of my hand, right over a tendon, ringed by a deep bruise. It's pretty awesome, but because it's on my right hand and doesn't really interfere with anything, I mostly ignore it.

Dunno if this counts as an injury, but I took vitamin D 50,000 IU and I think I am overdosing on vitamin d. I haven't eaten anything in 3 days, my muscles ache from doing nothing, my bones hurt weirdly, I'm nauseous constantly, I'm exhausted from doing nothing, and the worst part about it is there's this nasty taste in my mouth. Like a rancid taste that just sits in the back of my throat.

Anyways, I'm not taking any more of it and not going outside until my levels of D go back to normal, but the pharmacist never said anything about this. I asked if there were any side effects and they said "nope, it's just a vitamin". Same thing with my doctor. Then I check online and all the symptoms I'm having correlate with vitamin d toxicity.

I had vitamin D toxicity a few months ago and didn't feel a damn bit different. My endocrinologist caught it on a blood test for other stuff.

A persistent weird taste in your mouth could be a gastro issue.

Wow, you're good kitsa. I should come to you next time I need doctoring. When I was in the hospital last night, that's what they concluded. It was a gastro issue, but told me to lay off the vitamin C and D just in case. Weirdly the bad taste and dry mouth is the thing that bothers me the most. I can live with the full body aches and nausea.
