Here's a look at a classic that many of you may recall from way back in the day when people were trying to cash in on JAWS. While most other movies in this genre didn't do much to entertain fans, Piranha goes above and beyond the call of b-movie duty. Definitely NOT a movie that any true horror fan should go too long without seeing. Roger Corman + Joe Dante... need I say more?

The sequel, Piranha II - The Spawning, was the directorial debut of James Cameron.

Yep, which makes it all the more laughable. How do you go from THAT to great flicks like The Terminator?

But think how much better Titanic would have been if, at the end, Leo was gnawed to the bone by a piranha swarm cameo appearance .

We can only hope that someday there will be a "special director's cut" release which features that very scene, my friend.
