Getting wisdom teeth removed was definitely a fun experience..being completely doped up for about five hours after the surgery... it sucked not being able to eat normally for days afterward though.

And you're right, Les, abscesses are the worst. I had one that was like a grape sticking out of the roof of my mouth, and when I went in to get a hole drilled through the tooth, the dentist actually took a syringe and stuck it into the bulge and tried to suck some crap out with it (it didn't work)..that had to be my worst dental experience ever.

That sucks. I've had two cavities when I was younger, and I don't remember any pain, except a really bad taste in my mouth. I don't know if your dentist does it, but he puts some type of film on my teeth that's supposed to prevent food from getting in the cracks. I forget what the procedure is called, or if it's widely used. But, you should definitely floss. I don't floss, but if you have shitty teeth like that, it would definitely help.
