I hated FPSs before too... then I learned how to play them and stopped sucking. :/

The only FPS on a console I've ever liked is Halo.

I never said I didn't suck.

My problem is I feel more in control handling a controller versus a keyboard and mouse. Then again, maybe some games just sucked to begin with, and put me off (Half-Life and Quake 3).

Still, I just didn't see any substance to this game so far. Hitting a cat with a shovel and pissing on it got boring before it even started being interesting. At least GTA had a great story and voice acting. This just falls flat on everything but "senseless crap put in to get a senseless rating."

If you like it, fine. But I just don't see what's so great about punting someone's head down the road.

It doesn't freeze. It just takes about 5 minutes to load because it's obviously THE BEST GAME EVER.

It does that 16 bit mode or whatever because the full version has the higher resolution. I think it's stupid to be holding that feature back, but that's why it does that.

w00t! The trick is to download the game while Europe is sleeping.

This will provide a fun diversion from studying.

You're taking the game too seriously.

Furthermore, you're sounding like a snotty penis.

I think the full version does look a bit better texture wise...I am sur ethe reason they hold back on the demo is to keep its size a bit smaller.

The game loads pretty fast for me..but it stinks that you have to load new areas so often. It runs really smooth for me even at 1600x1200 until I get into a big gun fight overall this game is pretty entertaining.

Now I am mad at this demo.

Seven minutes isn't enough time.

Hrmm... I haven't played Duke Nukem so I couldn't say, but it's definitely the same voice from the first Postal game. The name of the guy who does the voice is Rick Hunter.

its not I was wrong

Duke Nukem was so badass, we would dial to each other on our 14.4 and play together.

A guy named Jon St. John does the voice for Duke Nukem.

The guy who did the voice for Caleb in Blood was sounded cool, too.

Yeah, as far as fps characters go, Caleb's the coolest. Duke Nukem's just a rip off of a couple movie characters.

PS - Watch "they live" to see the lesser known of the 2 main characters duke rips off. Really, really good movie. Especially if you're a John Carpenter fan.

BLOOD!!!! YEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!

I bought a full copy of Blood plus two extension packs AND the crappy strategy CD guide from Ebay last week for less than ten bux. And I got Blood 2 for about the same amount recently.

Yes, I'm a poor, misguided individual I know.

Anyway, Jamesman can go fuck himself - FPS rules. Give me a PC and keyboard and mouse, and nothing else compares.

As for Postal, I'm downloading it now (thank you Broadband) but I can't say I'm impressed by the screenshots. Looks all a bit Carmageddon 2 to me - too clear cut. I suppose I've just been playing too much NOLF 2.

But the original Postal! What a game! The old school sprite graphics, the blood, the "Ahh My Leg!!!!" exclamations of your victims!!

Awesome.

If you're looking for the most amazing 3D graphics, it's not your game. If you're looking for some good laughs like you had in the first Postal, then you won't be let-down.

I got the demo ASA it came out, and it was ok. The time limit is gay but it was fun. As for the full thing Gamespot gave it a 4.8 and rightfully so, it's pointless. Jamesman was right since the game lacks any depth at all whatsoever, and it leaves you wishing there was more point because it has the ability to be an awesome game. I've been looking forward to this game for a month, and the only joy is from when you first get it and you do some stuff, then the next fun part is the uninstallation.

Oh get the fuck over it. It's meant to be a fun little game you play when you're bored or something, it's not supposed to have any fucking depth.
