THE TIMESTAMP WAR

Okay guys we have three options here for post timestamps:

1. Full Timestamp
Format: January 29th, 2007 8:17 PM
This is how it was on the old boards and how it is right now.

2. Relative Timestamp
Format: 5 minutes ago
This is how it was when the vb boards started today. It reverts to the full timestamp after 24 hours. I personally prefer this as it makes the forums feel more active.

3. Combo Timestamp
Format: Today 8:19 PM
This is a 3rd option, it'd put 'today' or 'yesterday' behind the time, and a full timestamp if the post was before that.

When I first logged on I thought option 1. but option 2. has really grown on me so I vote 2.

Hey why come cant i have it say my OLD joindate like chojin has it?? WHY COME?

The earliest posts of mine that I could find on the ezboard were from August 2000, I'd guess I started posting earlier that summer maybe june or july, CHOJIN FIIIIX IT FIXXX IT

the default is anonymous polling, I just wanted to see what it looked like as CANDID POLLING

Yeah, I voted combo for a sense of fairness but I really favor full over relative

Combo is that terrible Boxer from Killer Instinct, so I picked relative because I like my relatives.

Actually isn't there some way you can set it up so each person can choose which display mode is used? It seems weird that you'd have to set the entire forum to see it one way.
