Except there's a lot of pricks in the Alliance area. I've ended up dying a couple times because I got attacked by a level 10 bear (I'm only lvl 7 right now ) and all these level 16 guys were walking by.

Are we all gonna pick a common race, or is it just anything Horde?

I made a human warrior on Laughing Skull because I didn't know you could only be either Horde or Alliance on a realm.

I will be making a new Alliance character elsewhere, though, and then I'll delete my LS guy and make a Horde guy.

Pitiful Alliance.

I have beaten down both Paladins and Alliance Rogues of higher levels then my warrior. The rogue was 6 levels higher, and the only reason he survived is because he backed into the Alliance NPC's I was hunting at the moment of his attack.

I was thinking priest or mage and tailoring/enchanting for my character.

But if there's already a high skill tailor I'd prolly pick some other skill.

Also, the idea was that everyone would be the same race, so you'd all start in the same area. But as far as the Horde goes, all but the Undead start around the same area, and it's just a zepplin ride away to meet up, so I guess that's OK.

My dream would be to get a couple hundred Horde members to just line up outside of an Alliance city. I'd love to see the look on the face of an Alliance as they looked to the distance and saw that.

Especially when everyone summoned Infernals.

On Terenas, I'm a level 19 Warlock, with Skinning and Tailoring.

My warrior's working with mineing and blacksmithing. So I got mail armor covered for now. Though it's weaker than the ones the vendors sell. But it looks cool.

I was so busy playing and leveling up my character on Elune that I never checked this thread until now :/

Well, I have a level 40 paladin named Thorandor over there now, can't change servers at this point.

But if any new people hop on Elune, I'll let you join my guild, give you a free tabard, help you out... or something.

A word of advice.

If you can reach a new area, GO AS SOON AS YOU CAN. If people have quests to give you, ACCEPT THEM IMMEDIATELY.

I had visited Ogrimmar before, but never took any of the quests there because I still had a lot to do in Trisfal Glades. Now, all those quests are gone. So yeah, I'm totally fucked over now, and have to start all over just so I can can get those quests with a new character.

Three weeks, down the drain.

You can still do the quests, the quest givers just don't have exclamation points over their heads cuz the quest is grey-con to you.


Um, but you should start over on Laughing Skull with all the cool kids anyway. :P

See, I'm going crazy. Like I said in my last post, quest-givers I'd seen aren't giving quests anymore. That includes trying to talk to them and getting the quest (I got one Thrall was offering that way).

So either I am going crazy, and nobody was offering quests to begin with, or it is possible to forever miss quests. So far, only one person out of 10 has said you could miss quests forever. So I really don't know.

a LOT of quests have pre reqs. the game is still new enough that a lot of the quest info online doesn't list all the requirements either.

say you want a quest from ogrimar, but you are undead and the NPC doesn't seem to have anything to say to you - try blazing thru the valley of trials and razor hill quests to see if maybe one of those is a prereq. this could be a pain in the ass, but if you REALLY want the quest, it might be the thing to do.

or you can check out quest info at thottbot.com, wowvault.ign.com, wow.allakhazam.com, or any of a number of websites with conflicting info about quests
