Old May 21st, 2007, 02:57 PM        NEW SHORT: "THE WORST TRADING CARDS EVER CREATED: PART 1!"
I used to collect all kinds of trading cards back in the day, and I still buy some every now 'n then. Having been so into collecting them when I was younger though, I saw a lot of godawful trading card sets, so I figured I would start up this new series of articles which will cover what I consider to be the worst of the worst. Hope you guys like it and if you have any suggestions for the next installment, please drop me an email and lemme know!

Nice....a couple other ones I can think of are the American Bandstand trading cards, the Decision '94 set, and the God-awful Supergirl set - the Supergirl is beyond hilarious.

If you ever do a cool card series, I recommend Zero Heros.

Yeah Supergirl has long been on my list of movies to do a feature on... hopefully I'll get around to it some day. Thanks for the suggestions man, I'll keep 'em in mind for the next time I do one of these articles.

Did Tom Bunk do alot of the artwork for the GPK cards? I remember his stuff in MAD Magazine always disgusted me in a good way.

Yeah Tom Bunk did do some of them but I'm not sure if he worked on the earliest ones or the newer ones or what. I believe John Pound was the main guy behind the Garbage Pail Kids.

Wow, those cards are awesome. Makes you wonder why people make them and people BUY them too. There must be demand for them as they are always being made.
