the only robots i've ever built (like, entirely) can only be equated to toys, and were build out of wood and pink foam (insulation stuff). i don't wanna fuck anything that rough

however, if i could sculpt the human form out of pink form, cover it in latex or bondo or something, that would be a different story

Usually we're limited by both the original sprite size and the 3 color maximum (2 colors if you include the black outline). I mean, if you're going to create a big walking dick instead of the original character, it's a lot easier and you can make it look better, like my recent "Unified Army of Testes Vs. The Nazi Unicorn Super Squad", but if you only have a single 8x8 block, the dicks gonna look bad no matter what. Plus crudely drawn cocks are pretty funny.
