Are you using onboard sound or a PCI soundcard?

I had a load of issues with my audigy 2 randomly stopping working and having to reseat it. In the end I just took it out and used my onboard sound untill I can afford an X-Fi.

heh.

it's not saying anything. that's the problem!

you know, you guys could try giving a more complete picture of the probelm when you have an issue. type of soundcard, wheter or not you've installed any new software or hardware (this DOES include plugging in USB devices!), the EXACT error message (word for word, including any numerical codes).

as it is, i'm inclined to say it's an ID 10 T User Error.

he said that his computer says that it's missing audio hardware.

it wouldn't say that if it's just that his speakers aren't working
