The Goldeneye level wins. Considering it takes Natalya over 4 seconds to tell you she's being shot in the head with an AK-47.

I always hated the Sandcrawler level in Super Star Wars.
But I beat it eventually.

Right now, I'd have to say the level that gives me most headaches is the level in Conker: Live and Reloaded where some prehistoric thugs take all of your money and you have to chase them across lava. I keep hitting dinosaur feet.

A recent aggravation would be in GTA:Vice City where you have to race the getaway driver. He gets a souped up roadster and you get a generic POS. Most annoying game level of ALL time though? Every level after level 2 in Battletoads, ESPECIALLY the one where you race the rat.

Goldeneye mission where you have to beat the facility under two minutes in 007 mode or something of that time beating objective. sure you could beat the level but can you BEAT THE TIME

For me, another one was finding the 120th star in SM64. Turns out it was for red coins in the invisble cap level.

In fact, button mashing parts in any game are generally annoying and shitty. The most irritating ones for me were in RE4, because not only did you have to mash as fast as you could (which, for me, requires the use of my index finger), you also had to press trigger combos, and since my finger was busy hitting the A button I could never reach over and hit the right trigger fast enough.

Also, every time you fail a mashing segment it just gets harder and harder because your finger gets really sore and tired

Speaking of ninjas, that level with the jetpack guys in Ninja Gaiden was really hard. I'm probably the only person I know who actually beat it.

And yeah, Shampoo is awesome. :o

Racing down Mt. Chiliad in GTA: San Andreas. I lose every time and it takes 20 minutes to get back up the mountain, and the race only happens once a day so you have to wait around and arrrgh.

The circular lock puzzles on Fatal Frame because the numbers are in Japanese and run counter-clockwise so even when I figured out that they were even numbers I still couldn't get it.
