This is a poem I wrote right after my boyfriend broke up with me, in a way its about us. The words in bold are song lyrics.

It's hard to believe that there's nobody out there, it's hard to believe that I'm all alone.A girl stands alone on a street while it rains, darkness surounding her. She watches in silence as a young man walks away from her, not looking back. Tears start to stream down her face as she feels the pain of everything that has just happened.
If this is what she wants, and it's what he wants, then why's there so much pain?
Inside, part of her dies.
It amazes me, the will of instinct.
She closes her eyes and tries to stop crying. Swallowing back what she thinks is fear, she takes a step forward, not sure what to do, hoping that he will turn and realise what he has done.
Reach out, and you may take my heart away.
He doesn't.
Don't waste your touch, you won't feel anything.
Not able to take it anymore, she runs to him, grabbing him in a tight hug from behind.
Look at what I have built, it shines so beautifully. Now watch as it destroys me.
The world seems to stop as the two stand there. A figure emerges from the darkness, grabbing the hand of the boy and pulling him away.
I feel I've got to run away, I've got to get away.
Invisable hand hold the girl and keep her from running.
Wish I made cures for how people are.
The boy reappears, a dazed look in his eyes. He doesn't even blink as a figure cloaked in blood red brings a knife to his throat and slices it.
Sometimes I wish I was brave, wish I was stronger, wish I could feel no pain.
She tries to scream, but cannot as the invisable hands cover her mouth.
I love you though you hurt me so.
The person with the knife turns to face her. Wanting to die, she closes her eyes and waits for the knife to fall.
Hate me, do what you did again.
Instead of killing her, the person slowly and painfully carves a crow across her chest, forever leaving the mark of death and true love into her.
You mourned the death of your bloody valentine, the night he died.
The hands let go as the figure finishes cutting. The girl falls onto the body of her dead love.
I wonder why I try...I wonder why I cry, why I go through all this trouble.
When she wakes, everything seems black to her, even though it is day.
I left it all behind, and never said goodbye
His body is gone, and remembering the feel of his cold body under hers, she stumbles home to face a world of pain and dispair.

The moral: Love brings pain, no matter what. Never believe that you are special, there are always more like you that can easily take your place.

You're the one talking about suicide, depression and all-around being pissed off, yet THEY'RE weird?

Cheer up. Have a few beers, go out, see a movie, I don't know. Do what cheers you up. Really bad stuff happens in life, but, as Mockery said...it can't rain all the time.

Heck, if it did, we'd all have really bad prune skin. Eeesh...
