I'm sure if you type in "Climate Gate" into any search engine your going to get a million newspapers covering it and on top of that it's not even an American story. The hackers who broke into the climate scientists e-mails are from Russia.

and I hate fox news. They remind me more of a cartoon show then a News agency.

Ya,

I really don't know how people take any of them seriously. Everything is already written for them and downloaded into their teleprompters before they even get to work, they self censor themselves, and are in the tank whoever pays the most.

I mean, look at the blatant hypocrisy of Keith Olbermann. He hated everything that Bush did but when Obama continues the same exact polices it's OK.

Sean Hannity is just as silly. Obama is doing everything that Bush is doing and more and Sean Hannity still calls him a "socialist" when he's really just a corporate puppet like the rest.

How many times have you seen Oderus Urungus on CNN or MSNBC?

EDIT: Thanks, Tad. I didn't feel like doing the work to call him on that. I like being argumentative more.

I can't see the video until later but I'm sure its hilarious. I had no idea what you were talking about until I popped Oderus Urungus in a search engine.

Speaking of which I was just playing the Beavis and Butthead genesis game yesterday. What a great game. Very difficult though.

No, it's not hilarious in the way you think. It's pretty informative. There is a Brit making a few jokes, but that's never funny.

Yes, but if you watch that video, you'll be more informed than most people on those hacked emails. Meaning, you'll understand that unless we know what we are talking about, we shouldn't take a side.

Very true

But I since the whistle has been blown on this scam it's pretty much over. The climate scientists have been found to screw around with the numbers. I don't blame them. If I had a steady job as a climate priest and had to keep saying the sky is falling I would definitely tell everyone who I'm working with to change all the numbers to suit our best interest. Meaning my paycheck.

I think we can go a little further though by saying that many wallstreet investment houses wanted the climate bill to get passed because it would have created a speculative market in carbon trading making a new bubble for corporations to hook on too.

I think the genius of this plan is labeling carbon dioxide as a pollutant. By labeling CO2 as a deadly chemical the regulators will focus directly on that and completely ignore more harmful chemicals such as Volatile Organic Compounds, Mercury oxides, Lead Oxides, sulphur oxides, and numerous other hazardous gases. This is why many of the funders of the Global Warming scheme are big oil and large multinational corporations.

Also look who they choose to be the spokesman for the Global Warming craze. Al Gore. Mr. FREE TRADE.

Anyone in this forum who is unemployed should be thanking Mr. Gore for shipping your jobs to a slave camp in China. Oh, and 3rd world nations don't give a rats ass about Global Warming / Climate Change. China, India, Africa, and ever other country that has a brain is going to completely ignore it because if they don't they will be as penniless as the USA.

I know it's difficult to comes to terms with, I believed the hoax when I was still in college but once you see whos behind the curtain you understand why they are so quick to keep the deception going. It's all about making money. Not protecting the environment.

Scientists at the heart of the Climategate controversy face new allegations which cast further doubt about global warming. Analysis shows researchers had tried to suppress key details of their findings for twenty years.

New allegations swirl in Climategate, which began last November with an email leak at the University of East Anglia, suggesting that one of the world’s foremost centres for climate research had been manipulating data to prove the existence of man-made global warming.
Now, it turns out data manipulation has been going on since at least 1990

You're an idiot. I can't believe you sent me to a gossip link. Give me hard evidence that fraud was committed. On second thought, forget it. That was the biggest waste of time and the week just began.

Chojin, can I mod this area now, we got a live one here.

Alright, nevermind.

I see some people are emotionally invested in this stuff. Bottom line is I don't believe a word of it and I think the Achilles heel of the whole argument is that they are calling CO2 a pollutant when there are far worse gasses that will not be regulated if a climate bill is passed.
