Sorry for posting this here, but I'm having a major problem.

My computer won't load.

I found a help thing off the internet, but it requires me to go into MS DOS, which I don't know how to do from the startup sequence.

Right in the middle of loading Windows, my computer suddenly putzes and displays the message

"The following file is missing or corrupt, please install a copy of the file <windows 2000 root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe"

I'd greatly appreciate some help as soon as possible.

I think if you hit F8 it during boot up you'll be able to get to command prompt. From there you can copy the file.

To get a DOS prompt you need to have a boot disk. You can make one with any computer that has windows 98.
