You can't be banned just because an admin/mod doesn't like you. It's only if you break the rules that bannings come into play.

Number 4 on the "Bannable offenses" list when combined with an unpleasent visceral reaction to each posting of a new user has led certain admin to seem to "ban folks they hate" though.
