best movie music has to be Ennio Morricone's The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, and of course Once upon a Time in the West.

Also, the T2 music, especially the T-1000 tune.

But, nothing beats Ennio Morricone's The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, NOTHING

Can't get enough John Williams. Ennio is good too, and the T2 theme song I like also. And the robocop theme song...

I think I'm a loser because I know more about movie themes than about music albums...

Akira anf the first two Terminator flicks have awesome soundtracks. Akira's is some funky shit, and Terminator's was just plain creepy.

Any soundtrack that comes from the minds of either John Williams or Danny Elfman.

The ONLY soundtrack I care for other than these is the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack, and only because the 50 Agent Smiths vs. Neo scene pops in my head EVERY time I hear it.

Clint Mansell's "Requiem for a Dream" and Howard Shore's "Lord of the Rings" are both excellent.

What are everyone's views on using mainstream music as backdrop (sound track) and the industry surrounding it? I ABSOLUTELY hate it! Comments?

The Snatch movie soundtrack was pretty badass.

Tubular Bells, the theme from the exorcist. Anyone wanting to download it should get the 25 minute version to get the full experience.

Everything danny elfman did in the first batman comes in a close second.
