It's the classic "Traitor in their mist" storyline Max Burbank talked about. Except this time it's painfully obvious and everyone wants it to be that way.

Disney characters? Are you being sarcastic, or just stupid?

I like how the only thing they changed is that they're smiling. That's hilarious to me in ways that I really can't articulate.

I'm constantly reminded of how stupid major corporations are. It really is quite baffling.

Hasn't anyone noticed that that picture lacks the usual visual quality WB shows have? It looks like crappy fan art, not professional animation.

Yes, but they're really not expending much effort for this new cartoon, at least not until they're certain what they're going with. A promotional video for the first version of the Loonatics was seriously drawn over a segment of the animated Batman series.

i think they should forget about this project, and send it to oblivion and make new characters. like that nobody would care because is doubtlessly going to be crap.

You obviously didn't see the original pitch.

I have. I have seen it.

I wasn't talking about the fact that this looks lame, I was talking about the fact that this looks suspiciously low-quality art. The other pitch at least looked like it was drawn properly.

Yeah, that was my first thought when I saw it as well. This is not a very professional design. Even for fan art, it would be mediocre.

In the face of this insanity, that was funny.

And though I never really thought of whether Tweety was male or female, I can't help but think "transgender."

Tweety was most definitely male. They had a movie where he gets a girlfriend.

Also: Why the fuck are the people at WB so fucking stupid? The reason the younger viewers aren't connected with the older Looney Toons character is because the original Looney Toons hasn't been on the fucking air on any basic cable channel (that I know of) for a good 4 or 5 years now. Most of their target audience hasn't even been past shitting themselves for that long.

I liked Loontics better when they looked like they would tear off somebody's head. I wouldn't watch it, but at least I could say 'man, those designs are wrong, but at least it's something other than looking like UBER MEGA ULTRA GAY CLUB SQUAD..IN COLOR.'

You know, fuck this. They should just go with mixing Tiny Toons with Pulp Fiction and offically scar our childhoods by showing Foghorn Leghorn sodomizing Hamton Pig until a gutted Dizzy Devil blows both of them away before expiring.

Loonatics is worse than the time they put a stupid oversized red bowtie on Jerry, and worse yet...him and Tom became friends.

If wil e coyote and roadrunner start giving each other high fives, you know the show has gone to the shitter.

Honestly, I really like the new designs of the Loonatics for one reason, kids probably won't like them. The more angular versions of Bugs and the gang on the other hand would have most likely been a huge hit with the kids and probably would of made WB a shitload of money.

Tom and Jerry weren't any friendlier towards each other in Tom & Jerry Kids than they were in the originals, y'know.

Obviously you've never seen the 70's version of Tom and Jerry. They actually had Tom and Jerry grooming one and another and they were skipping while holiding hands like a couple of giggly schoolgirls. Totally gay and vomit-inducing.
