This movie is gonna be so bad, but most likely better than the recent Halloween installments and Jason X. Thank the lord that the endless Scream clones are dying out.

Finally! I've been hearing about this movie for the past 10 years...One question though, Why wasn't this movie released before Jason X came out? I mean...remember the ending of Jason Goes to Hell (friday part 9) when Freddy's claws came out of the ground, grabbed Jason's mask and morphed it back into the ground?

On the other hand, I can't wait to see this movie, either.

It acts as a Prequel to Jason X actually. It supposedly starts up where "Jason Goes To Hell" ended.

Arr...then I guess we all know that Jason dies in this movie but it still doesn't give away on who had won the battle.

I swear if I see Freddy and Jason duking it out in a boxing ring in this movie, I'm going to walk out of the theater.

I WANT it to be good, but I don't think it's possible for it to be. I'll definitely see it though, because it's something I've been dreaming about for years and it's like the ultimate crime for any horror fan not to.

I wouldn't get my hopes up though. This is 2003...horror movies have changed since the 80's .

Don't count on it. Remember jason takes manhattan? He turned into a kid at the end yet he came back for 2 more movies. They can fuck with the timeline all they want and no one will really care as long as the movie's decent. I'm kinda surprised anyone would even be questioning it at this point :/ .

I certainly hope they've taken more of an Evil Dead approach to it, but not gone totally silly like Army Of Darkness. As long as it doesn't take itself seriously, it should be a good night out.

Actually, here's another kick to the face of every fan...They've said Freddy's gonna be serious and not making a lot of jokes like he did in the sequels. They want him to "be scary like he was in the original" and not the cheesy one liner guy we all know and love
