Anybody know when Barnes & Noble is doing another one of their "Buy one TV Box Set, Get One Free" sales? I need to stock up on Batman the Animated Series.

NEWS FLAAAAAAAAASH!!

My Target has "Santa Conquers the Martians" + two cartoons for one dollar! (I actually like a little bit of the "Dreamland" cartoon, they made them absurdly poor and I don't remember much else other than some super imposed cartoon children on clay/fabricated miniature backgrounds!) I haven't seen a problem with the video quality that I could really notice, sound is good! Also includes "Twas The Night Before Christmas" which comes off as just a typical holiday cartoon from the bits I've seen.

Merry Christmas! And Ho! Ho! Ho!

Keep looking in those indy stores people! I found "Mazes and Monsters" for TWO DOLLARS today. Plus, the place had a "BUY 2, GET 2 FREE sale" (on used DVD's).

Some people may think it is an evil place to shop at, but I like checking out Wal Mart for the 5$ DVDs they sell where I live. I have gotten all of the following

The Running Man
The Longest Yard
Mr. Mom
Rules of Engagement
Catch Me if You Can
Road to Perdition
Galaxy Quest
Clash of the Titans

I know I got a few others, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

Go to Half-Price books; they'll have gently used DVDs for about three dollars each, if not cheaper. Assuming there ARE Half-Price Books outside of Austin....

I know this thread doesn't get much attention, but Amazon has some excellent Black Friday sales lasting until Dec. 2nd. saw Spider-Man 2 Two Disc special edition for 1.99 earlier today but the price has gone up to 3.99 since then. Hulk, Iron Man, Wall-E for under 9 bucks.. Probably some other deals in there as well.

This isn't so much a GOOD DEAL ON DVD, but rather a "I didn't want to buy two fucking DVDs separately when I know damn well that they're meant to be packaged together and now they finally are and in HD."
