There's a line from the movie Groundhog Day that I need to sample, but I can't find it anywhere on the net. I know I could hook my VCR to my PC, but what tool could best be used to convert the audio to WAV format?

I have a special cable that's got a headphone connector on one end and a VCR connector on the other end. I used to use that to record sounds FROM my computer onto tapes when my friends and I made movies.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work for plugging it into the microphone port and Sound Out, then using something like Sound Recorder that comes with Windows if you have a similar setup. :/
