I decided to see despite how much it looked like every other wes anderson movie ever.

It is just like every other wes anderson movie every, and that's probably why I love it.

same old dead pan comedy style, hip stylized visuals, actors, and indie folk soundtrack. If you don't like wes anderson movies stay away, but if you end being gay for them anyways then you should check it out

I really want to see this. I recently re-watched Life Aquatic and I think It's somehow skyrocketed up the charts from being my least-favorite Wes Anderson movie to my most favorite. I'm excited to see this, not like it that much, buy it on DVD, then come to love it a couple years after that.

I know it's "hip" to like his movies, but I really couldn't give a damn. I really like what Wes Anderson does and I definitely wanna see this one.

yeah you have to go into it under the mentality that Wes Anderson is a giant dousche and just retelling the same story, just so you don't have unnaturally high hopes about the baseline of the story. It's different in enough ways to make me happy, but still has the same feel as his others. I'm glad there wasn't the pretentious Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind crowd at the theater I saw it at, but it seemed like this would be a magnet for those type of people.

I think the best way to approach this or any good movie is with the razors edge of pessimism that makes you think that this is going to be a bad movie but more worth your time than sydney white.

I saw this today and really enjoyed it. It's more low key than Wes Anderson's other movies. I agree with ScruU2wice that you have to go into the movie with low expectations.

I plan on buying the soundtrack.
