Some kid at my school's prosthetic arm fell off in the middle of class; I'm not sure why. But damned if it didn't freak me right the fuck out for a second or two.

I have no idea how the thing worked. He just laughed, grabbed it, and put it back on. I was so shocked, I didn't even pay attention to how it worked. I just gaped; I thought for sure he was a leper.
