Not too sure, I wasn't old enough to vote yet, and I didn't care too much about politics or social security.

I don't remember Carter, but theoretically I like him. He and I are carcinogen-buddies.

Reagan drove past my grandmother's house in his motorcade. My family trucked me out front and center and I was the pathetic little cancer patient waving a flag as the limo passed. I remember the limo window coming down and him waggling a hand at me. My grandmother says there was also a bullhorn and he said "Hello, little girl", but I don't remember that part.

Edit: also, my grandfather looks damn near exactly like Ronald Reagan. It's really weird.

No Im talking immigrants who come here and are old enough to draw on SS but never put anything into it. That added with some other cock gobbler who changed it where Congress can withdraw money from SS to fund whatever the hell they want are the reasons its now a failing institution.
