i saw him playing whamola during a drum solo on my friend's primus dvd. i wish i was there for that concert, they played frizzle fry in it's entirety ( my fave primus album ) and a bunch of other cool songs.

my only problem with claypool, his bass lines can be damn repetitive. american life's bassline is cool and everything, but it gets a little annoying twords the end

i use to like les claypool, until i actually picked up a bass. he's good at what he does, but that's all he can do. kind of corny, haha. he couldn't cut it in a band where he had to be the least bit subtle
