I can't tell if this is a fake or not because the footage isn't top notch, but if it's truly a skeleton of something other than a whale this spells doom for something like me. The second strike after them just finding the giant squid

Something inside of me is telling me that this is some kind of build up for the Shadow of the Colossus game.

The far shots of the skeleton look like they've been put in with an advanced editting program of some sort. Also, I can't find anything about it on sites like CNN and National Geographic.

It could be the Bloop (some sort of giant creature supposedly living at the ocean's deepest depth) or something, though.

EDIT: Looking around, there's a lot of stuff about giant this and giant that being discovered. There's bones of some biblical giant, the giant squid (the only one I've found on a respected news site), and some giant creature in the water of the Phillippines.

I read somewhere that those bones are not bones but an ancient temple. But after some interesting reading on sea snakes and things and the fact that we still don't know what lurks at the depths of the ocean, I'm open to the possibility that there are thousands of creatures that we have no idea exist.

In 20 years time I wonder how technology will have improved our ability to explore this area. There must still be animals that are undiscovered, not just in the oceans but in the jungles, underneath the ice in the antartic... even if its all speculation I'd like to think that there is still so much more to discover!

you're a moron, OF COURSE THERE ARE 29308239028309123901238923 CREATURES WE HAVEN'T DISCOVERED YET.

i remember hearing that we only know of 1/8 out of all the species in the world. or something of that sort.

This is a very well done splice of CG and real excavation shots. A fake, but a good one.

But most of the unknown species are bugs living in rainforests. Most big animals have been discovered, even in sea life. We've trawled up many new things, but the non-squidlike ones tend to be rather small.

It looks liek it was taken from a shitty Koran monster movie called YOunggary, I havent seen but the whole "discovery of giant skeleton" is ringing a bell with its plot.

I'm betting moreover on the Shadow of colossus viral marketing.

Oh come on deadkennedys, you would have to be borderline retarded with a brain tumor and an advanced stage of alzheimers not to be able to tell that this is fake.

This thread is now about Shadow of the Colossus, and how AWESOME it's going to be, despite the fact that it's a shameless Zelda ripoff if I've ever seen one.
