You can do that pretty much everywhere, but you will die pretty quickly unless you're just fighting zombies. The bigger things will toss you against a wall and prevent you from moving; recipe for quick death.

This game is fucking amazing. The level design is unbelievable, the monsters are detailed and some of them almost made soil my pants, and the story is quite interesting. The voice acting is pretty good too. I can honestly say that this is the best FPS at the moment.

There's NPC's at the beginning. So far, I've encountered a couple scientists, too, that will give you directions or something before dying.

I want to se the per poly damage detail shit. Wherever the bullet connects theres an entry and exit wound. (depending on the piercing power of your weapon.

I got this game like 3 days ago, I must say I don't jump at video games but this one has made me do so many times. The multi-player is excellent too, just like any other but it is much harder to land bullets on your target since the hit boxes are not gay anymore.

Arch-viles are the same naked white aliens that they were in Doom II. Rather than resurrecting monsters, though, it seems like they can summon an endless supply of imps...

I was wondering the same thing, I chose not to since I figured they would try to take the ships back to Earth.

I think it might make a little bit of a difference for the various bits of info that you pick up on PDAs. What happens when you don't send the message?
