Pretty sad that he lost his life. I admire the man for living up to his convictions and giving up millions to play football to join the Army Rangers.

Godspeed, man.

Can I? Sure. Will I? No.

Where did you post this info first? Your own site? No.

Newsfilter? No.

You posted it here. Why? Because you were sure someone, hopefully me, would tweak you when you were paying your respects to fallen hero. Your first thought was to bring that info here.

That's not very respectful, is it? That's kind of using this guys death to score a point, and it's transparent.

So screw you.

But on a personal note, I'm really glad you're okay. We were all worried about you even though you're the kind of guy to exploit a tragedy just to score points on a fucking message board.

" Report: Ex-NFL player Pat Tillman killed in Afghanistan
Print story AIM story Email story
FOXSports.com
Posted: 2 minutes ago

Pat Tillman, who gave up a career with the Arizona Cardinals to join the Army Rangers, has been killed in Afghanistan, according to various news reports.

Following the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Tillman, once a key contributor to the Cardinals' secondary and special teams, turned down a lucrative contract to enlist in the U.S. Army.

This story is two minutes old. The poor guy's not even cold and you're ready to use him. Nice.

Max, ya know, the only reason I posted on here is because it wasn't posted on here yet. I'm not trying to "score points", you fucking tool.

Christ, do you even think straight? Is your world so fucked up that you just try to get a rise out of me? Go fuck yourself, pansy ass.

If you should ever die young, please make sure someone posts it on here and when the funeral is. I'll make sure to swing by so I can piss in your coffin, you fucking asshole.

Huh. That's funny. 'Cause it's still not on Newsfilter. You have a falling out with those guys?

And it's still not on your own site, but then nothing new is. Didn't you want all the folks that regularly stop by there to know?

No. You came straight here with the news when it was less than a minute old. It was the very first thing you thought of doing with the info. Because you're a bag of crap.

"Is your world so fucked up that you just try to get a rise out of me?"
That is exactly what you were trying to do, get someone to rise to the bait and say something ugly to you when you were innocently posting a tragic story. Except the bait you were uing was some poor 27 year old kids death. 'wasn't posted on here yet.' my ass. When you posted it, it hadn't even made it onto Yahoo headlines. You're the fucking Flash of exploiting tragedy. You posted it here whn the story hadn't even been confirmed. 'yet'.

Listen, you art fag kike. The story was first reported on CNN a good 15 minutes before anyone else had it. It was then a newsflash on drudge. Everywhere else wasn't even reporting on it.

I would never exploit this dude's sacrifice for petty reasons like you are doing now.

And it's STILL not on Newsfilter! Shouldn't you bring them the news? Since it's not there 'yet', which was the 'only' reason you posted it here? It's not on your site 'yet' either.

I like 'art fag kike' though. It's a nice touch, and it makes the case that your the kind of guy who'd never do something cheap and sick like using a 'dudes' death to score points.

I don't think this guy's death is any more or less tragic than all the others, non-Americans included.

But it is Trajic. All these people dying over there are just kids. I hate sounding all sappy.

I also hate seeing this escelating violence in these countries we are invading. It trully is turning into another Vietnam. I just hope they don't reinstate the draft. :/ I don't want to move to Canada yet...

"I don't think this guy's death is any more or less tragic than all the others, non-Americans included."

Good point, in fact, he may be even more idiotic than the other people that join the army, since he gave up millions of dollars a year instead of giving up living in a trailer and working at McDicks. I know what I just wrote was ridiculously insensitive at the very least, and that it sucks to see anyone die. The reality is that thousands of people die everyday, and this guy joined an institution were in which the risk is even higher.

ps. I do at least have respect for the fact he died in Afghanistan, which is at least a war with some reasoning behind it.

edited because of Bobo!

Not another Viet Nam. No draft. Enough rhetoric.

Hopefully, people will hear about this and it will bring the war home a little more for some people. I'm a big sports fan and follow football closely, and this has made me think about the families of everyone who has a son or daughter there.

Hopefully, people won't turn this into petty squabbling and a chance for posturing and instead look at this as an example of someone being about more than just himself.

I don't think there will ever be a draft either, but more and more people high up in the government are thinking it would be a good idea. They say the Military is just full of "blue collar" kids.

Edit - Not to mention Spain, along with other coalition countries pulling out of the conflict.

I could easily see Afganistan/Iraqi Conflicts going into another vietnam, violence has been escelating like none other in the last month. Its evolving into a big ol' shitstorm.
