I love the library, it is so fucking great. They have DVD's, Videos, CDs, and books, all free to check out. They have a Sleater-Kinney cd, and the Rocky Horror Picture show DVD. It's so fabulous. They also have Sandman comics. YAY for the Library!

I was kicked out of the library for using the elevator, they said it was for OLD PEOPLE!

They still let a horny 15 year old stay even though he was looking at porn on the computers

But when i did go to the library, i rented Clerks, Hannibal, Gladiator, and bunch of other movies. It was grand.

I think I'm in that same boat Sadie. Same with renting movies from Blockbuster, as it turns out... if only the library were as aggressive to get their materials back as Blockbuster is, I'd have it back to them as soon as they noticed it was late!

Funny you should bring them up. One of them is hawking a phone line now. Lest you start thinking X-rated, it's not that. It's if you don't pay your phone bill, Southwestern Bell would rather take a golf club to the teeth than give you phone service, you hate cell phones, and you don't like using your neighbor's phone so you need a phone. It's like "Phone Service Lite" I believe.
