So ProtoMan and Endless Stage came out for DLC today. I spent the last of my points on it, because I'm a whore.

Protoman fucking sucks. Sure, he can slide, charge, and reflect shots while jumping. He gets knocked back a mile when hit, and he takes double damage. Wily's first form keeps raping me.

Endless stage is pretty fun, despite my hatred of endless stages. I got 88 screens in before a grabby guy threw me down a spike pit. It was a good run, too.

Well, I think Endless Stage is a lot of fun. It's like a mix between "how far can I get in that flash Helicopter game?" and the normal Mega Man formula.

Protoman is kinda lame, because the abilities are neat, but everything murders his health bar and sends him flying. There's no story and there's no store, so now you can't even compensate for taking double damage by buying shit. It's just disappointing.

I dunno. I wouldn't have downloaded them if I didn't have a few leftover points that I'd never spend.

Yes, because every other megaman game lets you play as multiple characters.

You spoiled twat.

Back in MY DAY, a Megaman game was like $80. And you got one character, and you were happy with that.

And you had to rely on NINTENDO POWER to tell you what order to beat the bosses in.

Fucking kids.

Real men beat all of the bosses with the Mega Buster.

MEGA Men.

Or exchanged tips and tricks at lunch. We did that too. Nintendo Power spoiled games, unless it was stuff like Zelda, where you NEED to know trivial shit like "bomb this spot right there".

Not really what I meant you ass. They released this extra content like two weeks after the game's releases which means they had it made in time to add it in the original product instead of holding back content to charge more for. I always felt downloadable content was for or atleast should be for stuff they made after the game release to keep giving fans more not purposfully withholding content in order to charge for it later. Same thing with the Call of Duty 4 maps. Scam

Just don't buy them, then. People seem to be bitching about the downloads themselves, so that's even more reason to just not get them. It's horse shit to withhold content just to charge people for it later, but I don't care enough about any of the downloads to bother with them anyway.

I think it's horseshit when it's something that really should have been in the game to begin with, but you can't argue that a 2nd playable character really should have been in megaman from the get-go.

Concrete Man or Splash Woman. Concrete man has a very predictable pattern and Splash Woman's weapon is pretty good.

Those things are going for insane prices on eBay. There are apparently only 200 in existence, and 145 of them are just being bought and immediately re-listed on eBay over and over again. Some as high as 400 or 500 dollars.
