Old Feb 20th, 2003, 11:04 PM        I paid way too much for an old toy. :(
I bought an original MOC TMNT Splinter for $16.50. That includes shipping and handling. I think I paid too much.

Don't worry. I recently paid over $40 for a poster that looks like this:

It's the cover of the singles "Straight to Hell" and "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by the Clash and it's the coolest fucking cover ever. And even though the poster is of shitty quality and is too dark IT WAS STILL FUCKING WORTH IT

Nah, that's not too bad for a Splinter. Hell, shipping on figures usually goes for about $6-7, so you spent $9-$10 on a figure that was initially $6.

Don't feel bad. If it's still in its package, you got a deal.

Ah, Metalhead. I have a fond memory of way back when back at my old Toys R Us, figure in hand...and some bastard of a little kid trying to make me give it to him. Fucking loser. I still have that figure in a box somewhere. He was freaking awesome!

I still think they should make a deluxe metal head. With like a light up or removeable brain. and also with A gun that pops up out of his cheast or spring loaded poles that make his legs SOUP arms shoot up. and he should be 13" tall

Dude, you guys got ripped off big-time.

I found almost ALL the original TMNT toys at Kay Bee (or are they just using the initials nowadays?) for like $3 each. And since I had just gotten paid the day before...
