Mainly the two genres of games I hate the most are:

Sports games- Because if you are willing to sit in a room for hours playing a football game or anything else for that matter, why not go the hell outside and actually play?

Racing games- Because racing is boring as fuck in real life. Let alone wasting hours of my time playing a game that simulates all the shittiness of watching it on TV.

Sports games don't suck. Competition is good stuff, online leagues and unpredictable outcomes.

Alot of people here just seem to hate sports. Maybe something from their high school days of being picked on and never selected for teams

Anyway, sports are fun. Video game or not. It's easy to bash something you don't give a try or are ignorant towards.

but i also like some sports games, when there are other people. i would like to play a video game with 4 people, but i would also play a real game of football with a big group.

how about this one, if you want to play a sports game, go outside and play a real game. whats the big deal with them, they are always the same only they just slap a new year in front of it.

As I said, video game or not I like sports so I do play them. Nothing organized of course.

Some years aren't much of a improvement but some years are. Fav series is the NFL2K series by Sega/VC (now ESPN NFL Football). The big deal about sports games is competition. If you have a group of good ballers that you play against online or offline then it can be some great fun. You can play 500 games and not one will be the same obviously. It's fun and unpredictable.

I have liked Sega's series better than EA since the first on DC. They keep improving too. You don't like them, that's fine.

As for having fun with the games, I guess you need friends to play with to have fun, sorry man.

I hate the star wars game for the NES. It is the most awful piece of trash ever put on the market. You have only one chance to get a lightsaber at the very start, and it's easy as hell to miss your one chance to get the only weapon that can kill anything. It's hilarious when you use it though because Luke starts flailing it about wildly. I could make a huge expose on why this game sucks, but I'll stop here.

How is eggyolk being a moron? He's advocating exercise and hanging out with friends as opposed to eating ranch-flavored chips and pretending you're an overpaid homo in denial.

I've heard the same thing from all sports games lovers. 'You must not have any friends! That's the problem! *highfive*'. Coincedentally, it's the same thing you get from Gamecube owners. It's just the denial talking, girls.

Since they show skateboarding on ESPN and all that good garbage, does the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series count as sports games?

Is that even still necessary? I thought I'd heard something awhile back about being able to download an updated roster via the internet...

...of course, if this makes vague sense, but sounds wrong, it's because it's too high tech for me. I don't play online games
