Definately the Best in the series so far. Its narritave is actually pretty cool albeit a little predictable. If you havent played it yet go out and rent it. All the morid ways of killing someone are probably the biggest daw to the game, like knocking out a suburban jogger and throwing him into a trash compactor, or taking the M4 with a Beta C mag and cutting down dosens of peopel at mardi gras.

It is one of the better in the series. My favorite scenario so far is "A new life." The clown suit is awesome.

BUMP.

I know I'm late, but I just rented this game, and beat it in mere hours.

I liked placing mines in objects ( Cakes, crates, briefcases, toolboxes),
Placing them in a crowded area, and detonating them.

That's how I outsmarted the last target, Mark Parchezzi.

I set a mine in a carpenter's toolbox, set it where you fight him, on the
West Wing roof, and detonated it when I got to that fight

Also,

On the " Amendment XXV " Level, I like throwing objects into the lazer
security system in the museum, and walking away, soldiers running past me.

One time, I just decided to actually PUSH the lady into the glass. It didn't work

The Cripple in the wheelchair and the Reporter are the last ones

During the last part where the credits keep rolling movve the L-Thumbstick up and down and you come back to life at your funeral.

I don't have this game, haven't played it much, and I haven't made it to the end, but I smell a rat.

Another Feature I found amusing was how they draw a sketch of you that looks nothing like you when you do the level correctly/ bribe the civillians

theres a really bad glitch in the PC version for me, if you press "G" to drop an item at any point during the "you better watch out" mission (the porn tycoons mountain stronghold party) the game just dies and forces you to restart your comp

the heaven and hell night cub part was neat, except it would have been WAYY cool to be able to break the shark tanks glass and let it go to town on all the people on the dance floor.

Excellent game, but sadly the replay value isn't all that great.

I really have a huge respect for the level designers. Almost every level in this game is outstanding. Even the worst one (Flatline) is ok. I especially enjoyed the casino level, A New Life, that mardi gras thingy and Heaven & Hell.

I liked Hitman 2 better compared to this one, though. Dunno why.

Hitman 2 was all about its first level. The Mobsters Villa, thats probably my most favourite mission in the world.

Also Replayability is huge in Blood Money, the levels are so non linear that theres doses of ways to complete most of them. I replayed "a new life" about 9-10 times BEFORE i even realized that there was an animal hospital. Also you can poison the familys dog with Ether and a Sausage. wait untill their party actually begins then assasinate Mr. Sinistra, Blow up the bbq to kill that girl (wife or daughter I don't know) dress up as the poolboy and have the girl lead you upstairs :D

theres friggin tons.

My favourite on was stalking through the house in the Clown costume with a pair of hedge clippers.

Or the "vintage year" level, go through and kill EVERYONE with the hammer you find in the garage. its hard but entirely awesome

Yeah, there's dozens of ways to complete the levels, but there's really only one, maybe two, ways to get Silent Assassin, and once you get all those, the replayability isn't so great.

You can go back and get all the guns, but even that only takes an hour at the most. Well, an hour at the most provided you have mouseaim.

a gamer who wants to see everything in every level will get a kick out of this game, no doubt, but im the kind of guy who just wants to beat the game. Playing those levels after beating the game seems so...I dunno, pointless. :/
But thats just me.

My first play through, I got into costume, but if I messed up, I'd just go balls-to-the-wall and would probably die.

The SECOND time, I got Hitman/Silent Assassin on alot of the linear levels (Curtains down, A New Life, Flatline)

I love it when you replace the opera guys gun with a real one. That has to be my favourite thing in the whole game.


and how do you get silent assasin in a new life?

I havent gotten Silent Assassin on that level, but I cooked up a plan which I haven't tried yet.

1. get ether and sausage
2. Make the doggy go nappy and disable the camera.
3. Sneak in the house through the upstairs window. (baby's room)
4. put ether on the panties in the daughters room and wait
5. dress as an FBI agent
6. go downstairs and poison the whiskey in the lounge
7. go to the sauna and wait for that drunken wife to come in the room with the showers and inject her full of anesthetic.
8. take the microfilm
9. get out.

if i remember right mine went:

-drug clown
-dress as clown, hide body
-go into house
-drug the slutty woman's bottle of booze
-hang around main entrance till she asks you to follow her
-once shes out cold, get microfilm
-go outside
-get back into normal clothes (to avoid fine)
-sneak into garage across street from house
-use sliced rifle to kill target through window

its been a while, but i think that got me a silent assassin rating
