The priest in dead alive getting impaled on the hand. Or the entire lawnmower scene from dead alive. Kinda obvious, though.

You know, I've never seen that "Dead & Buried" flick, but I've heard that one eye scene is really great. Is the movie good? Problem is, I don't want to do features on movies that I can't get my hands on, and I can't exactly go out 'n buy the DVD for every movie that people suggest. :/

Dude, I'll mail you my copy so you can watch it. It's the sort of movie that people just have to see. It's that good.

Awesome, do it and I'll gladly cover it in the greatest horror moments section if I do indeed find it to be that good :o

Yeah, I've been considering that scene along with some other ones. The lil' clown just looks so sad when they wreck his bike

Do a grab bag on another well hidden halloween treat. If they still have them, get one of those Dr. thing kits where you make your own gummy candy.. I forgot what its called though...

Just added another movie to the "greatest moments" list. This time the honor goes to American Psycho:

The best part of Phantasm was when the tall man comes through that fucking mirror and grabs the kid.

American Psycho was indeed great. I'll never forget a naked Christian Bale dressed in tennis shoes and wielding a chainsaw

I caught like the last five minutes of American Pyscho 2 at a music festival a couple of years ago. I saw the pyscho chick die in a car crash and then she showed up at some college class, and the teacher recognized her or something. Enough to tell me it wasn't worth checking out.

The Psycho toy clown, or the Pscycho Tree, or the dead people in the pool in Poltergeist.

Other great "Head Explodin'" Moments:

Scanners (Everyone should know that one)
The Beyond (A little zombie girl gets half of her head blown off, how cute)

Videodrome had a cool "entrails flying out of a TV screen" moment.

The part in Undead when the cop (wearing shorts) calls the zombies 'a bunch of poofters, hippies and dole bludgers' while shooting them with a shotgun.

"Shoot them in the brain!"

John Carpenter's The Thing

Where the doctor is attempting CPR on the fat guy and his arms suddenly punch right through his chest, and the Thing bites them off.
