It's very, very odd to think that you've been smothered in schooling for the past 16 to 17 years, and then it just ends.

I'll be going to Grad school in a year or so, but for now, I'm done wit me skoolin'.

Strange feeling, I know some of you other Mockers can relate (wink, wink, this is the topic/thread starter).

Congrats Kevin.

I felt the same way when I finished my degree at Barbazon. I mean, I was happy that it was finally over. You know, no more perm mid terms, or cuticle finals. But at the same time, I knew I'd really miss our late night study groups at Sally's Nails.

Bitter sweet my friend.

Many congrats Kev...

Any plans for what you're gonna do now? Any places you'd like to get a job or anything?

Welcome to the wide world of complete and total bullshit. Depending on where you live you will have varying succes at finding a job that even remotely relates to your major. If your like me and went to school for programming in borland, you should quickly take a job with the nearest land surveyor. You can use your skill to convince rednecks that their wells are not on thier property. After getting fed up with that crap you can begin a fulfilling career in auto repair, just like me. I really do enjoy my work now, and If I had followed though with C++ bullshit, I'd have shot myself years ago.
GO COLLEGE! IT"S SO WORTHWHILE!!! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

I think I was college-jaded after the first three months of being in Chicago. I suppose grad school's only three and a half years away, but oh well.

Congrats, Kevin. What school(s) are you looking at attending next?

Yeah, took a while to adjust -- felt like I was in limbo land for the 1st eight months after graduation, or so. I'm in a pretty good rhythm now though, with work and various extracurrics. Going to start taking a class again next week.

In a year it's back to school for at least four more years. Maximum, maybe 8? Still haven't completely resolved all those issues. Med school is definitely on the horizon; the question is what else? :

Time to cut the soles off your shoes, sit in a tree and learn to play the flute.
