I was reading the WFYB Radio thread, & Prog Shooter had this long complicated recipe for compressing the show, & all I could think was "Why the fuck don't you just buy a cheap tube compressor?" then Chojin said exactly that, & I was refreshed in the knowledge that he is my internet saviour.

Homeless people don't die. When I was really little, my mother and I used to pass by this one funky homeless woman on the way to school. She'd screech at us and wouldn't move out of the way. When I was a tad bit older, my brother and me (no pun intended ) would laugh and make fun of her.

Fast forward to last summer, i'm out walking the streets and I see her sitting at that same street, but she doesn't recognize me. I for one am glad. I gave her a few bucks.
