Pay attention, doofus. It's from Newsmax, and that's even worse.

Maybe you should have posted a link to the text of the resolution, Ronnie. You know, so that we could see everything that's in that resolution, and weigh it objectively, rather than rely on the half-assed journalism of a sub-toilet paper rag like Newsmax.

Wait a sec, are you saying that Newsmax only posted a paraphrased version of the resolution? And that the story doesn't even ASK why people voted the way they did? Why... that would mean that Newsmax wasn't even journalism! And that it's readers had all the intlellectul curiosity and actual desire to be informed of a tree stump!

Seriously, I thought of sending a story to Newsmax about John Kerry raping babies in Vietnam. Except that they'd probably take it seriously.

That democrats generally don't support the troops.

Want another example?

How about the time they tried to discount military absentee ballots after the 2000 election....

I find your use of the word "generally" a bit misleading.

Quote:
Voting "yes" were 151 Democrats, 213 Republicans and one independent.

Voting "no" were 49 Democrats and one independent
I know I haven't taken math since I started law school but isn't 151 well over a majority of democrats? Is 49 less than 1/3 of the dems in the House?

Want another example, jerky? How about tthe fact that Bush is the guy who moved to cut their endangerment pay and their benefits? You want to talk about who is fucking over the troops? Look no further than our president. This is the same guy who praised the troops during his GI-Joe landing, right at the same time he was moving to cut the aforementioned benefits. Way to piss down the backs of the troops while telling them it's raining. Democrats, my ass. Start reading the real news instead of Rush's site, Raygun.

Punkgrrrlie summed up the rest of the argument quite well. You swallow Republican propaganda jizz better than a porn star, Ronnie. Maybe there's a future for you yet.

Nalds, are you the Joeseph Goebels of I-mockery or just a stupid sucker eager to latch on to and promulgate any old reactionary idea that pops into your noggin?

I support the troops by wanting to bring them home. I can't think of anything more supportive. My Godkids father is over there right now. suppprt him by hoping he doesn't die and he seems a lot less likely to die here at home than over there.

You confuse supporting this war, which I don't, with supporting these troops, which I do.

America is what's called a pluralistic society, but then I know you hte what America stands for, so it comes as no suprise that you find your deffinition of supporting the troops the only satisfactory one. How old are you? You could be supprting them with your physical presence, couldn't you?

How many on the right went over to Vietnam and boosted the moral of our enemy?

How many on the right ever spit on our soldiers in airports and called them baby killers?

When soldiers die in Iraq, who benefits?

Terrorists and democrats.

If Usama is found, who does it hurt?

Terrorists and democrats.

If Bush is voted out of office, who wins?

Terrorists and democrats.

Two, two, two mints in one!

49 out of 151 is a vast majority!

Find me one, just one, one single CONTEMPORARY account of a vet being spit on. As in reported at the time.

I think when we invaded Iraq we boosted the hell out of Usama's Moral. Recruitment in Al Quaeda certainly went up. Who would it hurt of we had avoided invading Iraq? Usama.

When you say Democrats 'benefit' from soldiers deaths, you reveal serious moral failings in yourself. It shows a marked lack of empathy and compassion, and the reduction of mortal stakes to politics. It is a very, very unchristian attitude. Remove the beam from your own eye before attending to the motes in others.

Your view that Bush loosing would be terrorist victory reveals a marked anti american streak. Should we all vote for Bush regrdless of what we think becuase of the terrorists? Or are we still a free country, one man one vote. If I voted for Bush because of the terrorists, then they have indeed won. I hate bush for a whole host of reasons that have to do with my politics and my morality. To vote for him under those circumstances would be a betrayal of the franchise.

Who wins when people become so reactionary they no longer recognize the validity of a two party sytem and reuce everything to 'with us or against us'? Neocons and terrorists. Stop staring into the abyss, naldo. You are becoming one.

Defend this claim, or never speak on it again. Quantify it. Explain to us how terrorists prefer Kerry over Bush. Explain to us how the terrorists would fear a president who polarizes the rest of the world from America, who creates breeding pools for terrorism by destabilizing Iraq, etc.

Terrorists militias like the G.S.P.C. are gathering weapons in North Africa, and Arab mercs. are commiting acts of genocide in Sudan, not to mention the remaining instability in Afghanistan, the hostilities between us and N. Korea. We snub our friends in Europe and make new friends with dictators in Libya and Pakistan.

PLEASE, explain to me how the terrorists would prefer a Western world united instead of this divided one under President Bush......

"Blah, blah, blah Max."
Wow. It's like the Lincoln/Douglass debate. No wait, it's more like the Lincoln/Log debate.

"You know terrorists want Bush to lose. Are you going to help their cause? Yes or no?"

The only way you could know that is if you're a terrorist. I think you're wrong. I think they love W. He's one man recruiting poster for terrorism. But I believe you think you're right. I think Kerry would do a much better job fighting terrorism than Bush would, so regardless of what the terrorists want, it's one of the many reasons I intend to vote for him. See, I like to decide things like that on my own. But you go ahead and let what you think terrorists want determine who you vote for.

You know Bush wants to destroy the constitution. Are you going to help his cause? yes or no?
