Oh yeah, the fire temple was one of my favorites too. I also enjoyed the Shadow Temple in that game. Golly was it a frightful experience.

Gravity Man's level in Mega Man 5. I also like the Stone Tower temple in Majora's Mask. Both of them involve turning stuff upside down. What a coincidence.

i think the whole Splinter Cell was a great experience

i love Part 2 of Hydro City Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, with all the loops to build on speed with. the music also kicked ass.
that and the tower in Castlevania 3, after aquiring Grant Danasty(also had great music, and fun with climbing on walls)

Jabu-Jabu's belly and gannon's castle in Z64.
also, the last level in Metroid 2, cuz of the creepy music.
Oh, and Dr Wilys stage in Megaman 2, also for the music.
Ok, one more, the, um, crap, whats that level in Majora's Mask that you flip upside down with the Light arrows?

One of my favorites was on AVP1 as the Marine when you have to kill the Alien Queen with, like, a pulse rifle and a flame thrower.

Whoa, you're right, it did. Those were some CRAZY DAYS.

Actually, I think it went right to left, and then you went down a pipe and had to backtrack through the floor below across spikes and invincible pirahna plants. Goddamn, that shoe was awesome.
