What bands would you like to see work together? I really liked Slayer with Atari Teenage Riot, and Mike Patton with Dillinger Escape Plan.
I think Dillinger would work well with Squarepusher.
Or Nick Cave with David Bowie.

Mike patton DID work with dillinger escape plan.. Hmm good question....It would be cool if Rage Against The Machine got back together and made a Split Album with Tool in which they would do song's together

We'd like to see Metallica collaborate with Dave Lombardo, or in fact, any other reasonably skilled drummer (like Gene Hoglan). That would be nice.

Did Pig Destroyer and Agoraphobic Nosebleed ever do anything together? That'd be awesome.

The Flaming Lips & the alien formally know as Michael Jackson, I'm sure that would be some interesting music.

the flaming lips/bootsy collins sounds ACE

autechre/sigur ros (after hearing what sigur ros can do when they decide "b-side" means "experiment all you want", i think they could do some KOOL-ASS shit together)

underworld/orbital (a bit dated, but they could compliment each other well, and orbital need to get some semblance of a plot after "the altogether")

out hud/lightnig bolt (the most uber of neo- indie/hipster crap together. beats and funk with ass-raping brutality. funs!)

flaming lips/anyone (really)

Basement Jaxx/Beyoncé (O. M. G.)

daft punk/chemical brothers (this shoulda happened 5 years ago. still damn good at what they do, this might be seen as old bastards at their end, but this would be great for me)

mum/aphex twin. (mmmmmmmm....)

s'all i can think of right now.

out hud are probably the only people on earth who could actually make lightning bolt suck. god, i hate those fucking choads.
next time i go to a show only to be bitched at for not dancing to shitty shitshit that sounds like britney spears, minus the vocals, i'm seriously going to leave with blood on my fists.

ok, "!!!" totally sucks and is way overrated, but the "L train is a swell train..." song kicks total ass, and if a band plays music that the audience should dance to, then take a cue.

people shouldnt press you to dance, because thats retarded, but live shows are only half made to analyze/see how good they are, the primary function is to have FUN

i've gone to tons of shit bands live (free, btw) but had fun. why? because i was DRUNK. because here was a ragin' fire outside and we were pretty much doing what we wanted.

and out hud.... say what you want, like em or dont, but "britney spears w/out the vocals" is a comment that goes in the "head up the arrogant better-than-thou ass" category. because it sounds nothing like it.

after basic consideration the out hud/lightning bolt collab would obviously not work. not at all. not even on the most basic level.

iron mitch is still wrong though.

oh, i'm usually the most hyper person ever at shows! believe me. i'm a prick about it. i move around and i don't care who i hit. period.
but these guys, when they came to nashville a year or so ago, were completely awful! seriously, it sounded like fucking radio bullshit to me! britney spears meets !!! meets postal service! terrible terrible stuff!
and i was up front... no way out... packed faggot hall... and they had the nerve to basically poke fun at me for not dancing like a fucking retard to their shit piss. so i continued to not dance and make the most wretched faces/poses i could. i found out i can stick my tongue two inches into my nose.
those guys are worse than jimmy eat world and i hope they die in a van wreck.

yeah, seriously, same band. i don't like the recorded stuff, but this shit was a whole new stinkhole. they are taking the mindblowingly annoying "i'm indie, so i'm going to push every lame mainstream cliche into my everyday life and think it's hip as all get out" into new territories. these fuckers deserve nothing but eternal torture. and !!! suck now, too. i saw them just about 3 or 4 months after the first cd came out and they were really great. but they blew hard at this show.
