Yeah, and now that I think about it, that episode was also a parody on scientology. You'd think THAT was the episode everybody would get pissed off by, but nothing happened.

I'm guessing that there won't be and never was really going to be a part two to further emphasise the stupidity of banning an episode of anything and to make comedy central look bad. I think that was part of the joke, but I might be wrong.

Comedy Central's already promoting the second part, so I'm pretty sure it's coming. Plus, there are so many set-ups to jokes in the first part it's obvious they're planning to pay them off.

After watching Family Guy last night I had last week's South Park in my mind the whole time. Needless to say, it killed Family Guy completely for me.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I feel that way too, but I've felt that way about it ever since FOX picked it up again. South Park just codified it for me

I have to say the first 15 minutes of non stop pointed political comedy is great. The only thing funnier is when they comment on themselves having non stop pointed political comedy

Yeah, they split up, and terrence went on some kind of binge and got huge. He looked like he lost a little weight, though...

I have to say I got pretty fucking tired of Cartman pointing out how South Park is deep and meaningful and uses character development. They should respect their audience enough to get it from subtelty. :/

Despite that the terrorist's cartoon was hilarious.

haha yea, the terrorist's cartoon rules which reminded me of...

THE HOLOCAUST CARTOON COMPETETION

they were going to do a cartoon competetion in Iran on holocaust cartoons in responce to the cartoon prophet row.

What's happening there? I'm shure the results to the competetion is out, but nobody's reporting on it.,

The family guy writing staff was classic... I never realized how trite and banal family guy was until south park broke it down for me. The guilt of laughing at f.g. weighs heavily

I feel kinda bad for Family Guy. The episodes take so long to make, so they can't actually change anything about the poor writing until the end of this season. Then again, good writers should know when they're overusing a joke, huh?

It has been going downhill for a while now... people talked about the stupidity of it's jokes long before South Park. South Park tends to make sheep out of people, though. Think about it, would you feel guilty about watching FG were it not for these episodes? True, there's the argument that SP is just really good at convincing and getting its point across, making people realize the silliness of things, and that they're right in this case, but it still doesn't feel quite right.

That doesn't change that these were the best two episodes this season so far
