Blade'O'Poo... Part Delux
Ok I take a step back and recap what I thought of the first two movies.
Blade 1: Good, in fact F'ing good. This movie reminded me why I like dark punk movies. In this case more like undergound vampire gothic extreamly dark action movie. Whiew! Anyhow the plot was cool, I didint really care if it came from a freaken comic book just as long it's convincing and I care for the plot. Good Acting, Good script, Great action that look like they took time on it! Good action, not funney and grim most of the way. Plot: Blade takes out a group of people who wanted to walk by day.
Blade 2: Lost most of it's spirit and gave way into humor and some cheasy effects called CGI. Most of my liking was in the begining then it took off too loony land. Ok action, below par acting and well silly ending.Takes out a head consoul of the vampire clan who also wanted to walk by night and was trying to reserect a super vampire.
Blade 3 in other words for the internet folk "..." or "^_^" lord for the love of god and jesus who died for us all, stop it! Ok, well the movie. First the hi-light free popcorn wedsdays at AMC! Ok, now the low-light, I do not see another serious movie taken down by humor, you do not need it at all! This turn into a every five minutes a wise crack is thrown out. It took the darkness gloom the movie once stood for and smack it! Blade was ok, and had a few good lines, one that was cool and well yes humorus, but it was at a good time. The rest, poop! I do not need to see a hot chick kick ass and not act! In fact it's a sad trend now! Where was the days of good acting out of women in action movies? We get pin up girls that can do well nothing.
A freaken cross bow!!!! Come on! Its slower than a bullet and if you need to be silent then use a silencer on your gun. I just find it not cool anymore wtih cross bow! Stalone in Rambo was cool (in first blood) but thats it cross bows are out. Even in Van Helsing it wasint that great. Well it was a automatic one, still no go! NO manuverbility, agile is out, you have to carry your shots from behind, reload sux, amuntion is limited. And it's kind of big and lopsided to carry around. I still scratch my head even at the elf in LOR, how he had unlimited amount of arrows and also his ability to well dance around like a break dancer an still kill everyone. Elfs are agile but they are not strong. Thats what the dwarfs are created they are the opposite, strong but slow. So whats up with that ???!!!??? Unless your a half-elf...
The main bad guy was supose to be dracula himself! The ultimate bad ass. And well didint do much that was well impressive. I was kind of disapointed. He did took out some supporting cast (trying not to give away the plot) and well strom a gothic store. But really he didint do anything that made him look at evil like. The end fight with him seemed uninspiring and predictible what will happen that well I felt sad deep inside.
The vampire nation or the enterprise that has been well in a losing streak with Blade is even worse off than we thought. Even the leaders look pethedic and wonder how they came into power that well you get the idea that they all are weak. So much for a cool death strugle.
Ok well thats it, very below par... it wasint bad but it really needed a new director and it could of been something. Oh and no more cheap humor and women who cant act (get better roles)! I get back to the crapy star power that women has seem to generate by just looks alone!
