it was a side-scrolling shooter where the stated goal was to collect all the parts of your space-ship and turn it into a mech that amounted to nothing more than a really tall, easily shot space-ship. then you're supposed to kill this space dragon thing to beat the game but if you kill him you just keep going until it loops back to the beginning and you run into the dragon again, effectively accomplishing nothing.

the looping thing was annoying and what was worse is it only takes about 3 minutes to progress through the entire game before you're back at the beginning. it's not even like pac-man or something where you keep doing the same levels but they get harder. it's exactly the same no matter how many times you loop through it. plus it's super ugly.

Haha, I thought of another one. COBRA TRIANGLE. I remember I saw a photoshop on SA that renamed it "throw your controller at a fucking wall!" and it was the truest thing I've ever seen.

My bad. Bionic Commando. Not really one of the worst games ive ever played but the bionic claw, as I recall, was useless for dodging bullets (jumping would be more usefull in this game).

Mario's time machine on SNES, educational and simply awful.. I did not get the mini game with the surfing and mushrooms at all :S

My brother traded our copy of Link to the Past for that in an evil game shop =(

Whenever you chose a date on the time machine that was wrong or something you had to do a little surfing game where you had to collect 10 mushrooms or something :S
Then you fell into a whirlpool when you just couldn't take it anymore and went back to the time machine

Am I the only one who has subjected himself to the horror that is Awesome Possum? I mean, when I was 4, I willingly rented Bubsy, and I still thought AP was utter shit.

Games like Gilligan's Island and X-Men for NES don't count. Those aren't even remotely playable.

I'd put Final Fight: Streetwise up there. Shit graphics, bad controls, annoying voices, and no Haggar.

The only fun thing about Mortal Kombat was the fact that you could actually beat the opponent shitless for completey destroying you countless times before - gave you a chance to really vent your anger out on the poor, helpless character

That's fine but you can take Bionic Commando along with those. Games don't have to be the best ever to be fun. I've always liked Bionic Commando and it's sitting on my shelf right now.

I saw a game at Game Crazy once and I couldn't see it very well, plus half the label was gone; all I could see was "ando" at the end. So I asked if it was Bionic Commando, and they all laughed at me.
