Ummm... Getting back on subject here... My Uncle has an empty reuseable Rocket Launcher he took from the Army and he claims he knows a guy who can get him Rockets. Kind of blows the readily availble theory to hell eh?

Well minus the rocket they are just a tube with a small scope strapped to the top so quite a few ex-soldiers have managed to bring them back from iraq and other recent conflicts.

I'm fine with just creating some portable explosives, and having a van/bus that I can use as a mobile base. A few handguns would be nice since I could use those at a closer range, but I'm better at using explosives.

I think i would have to have hand to hand fighting skills as zombies inevitably turn up the the most unexpected places. Also marksmanship skills as ammunntion could be limited and headshots would probably be the only way of incapacitating the zombies. :/

Hell, if a zombie break out did happen, I would head for the gun shop down the street. That guy has more ammo and guns then our police department. Steel Reinforced doors and he has stockpiled food and water for when "all hell breaks loose". Paranoid? Sure. Stupid? Well... When the Zombies take over... You be the judge. Me, I am going to be huddled behind three inch steal with a Mac-10 in my hand.

The only time an automatic would be usefull is if it has a clipsize larger than 50 usually a drum fed. Them zombise are notorious for closing distances during reloads. I would go for Semi autos Make Every single shot cout.

Zombies are also notorious for bieng able to take alot of shots without going down. i would say a 2 second spray from a mac10 should do the trick but to use the same ammout of bullets with a semi auto would probably take about 10 seconds... mabey more. (mac10 has a fire rate of around 1200 rpm).
i guess the best thing would be an mp5 with fire mode selector as you would be able to use semi auto if ammo was runnign low or you needed to be accurate, 3 round burst for close range, accurate face shooting and full auto for when there are like 10 zombies comming at you fast. Also the Mp5 can be equiped with a larger 50round drum magazine. The only disadvantage is the 9mm rounds it uses.

I dont see why people want explosives. I don't think killing a zombie would be any harder then killing a person. I would use my '91 ford bronco. and maybe a large drag chain
