i'm at home right now, not at the radio station, which means i have fucking netzero and really slow connections. so now i click on this thread, because jixby is usually a funny guy (despite chojin's insistence that he's not), but now, i'm going to have to get hobo renee, and we'll drive to redding, and since she knows where you live, i'm going to your house to KICK YOUR ASS, because that was 30 seconds WASTED.

There was a strip of The Family Circus in which the daddy is holding a gun in his mouth and the mommy is saying "DO IT!! YOU DON'T HAVE THE GUTS!!" You can tell it's her saying that because her mouth is open and those are the words under the circle that the action takes place in.

Jixby is the human equivalent of a billboard that says WATCH THIS SPACE.

Jixby is like when you turn on the radio and it's the middle of an Emergency Broadcasting System check, and you're two scared to turn the dial becuase what if it's on all the other stations.

Jixby is when you tune in an old episode of Twilight Zone and you think you've seen it before but it's one you've never seen before or even heard of and it seems really as if it's speaking directly to you about your personal problems and it does everything but use your damn name and then the next day you tell a friend about it and they go "Fuck, man, I've seen that one more times than the fucking Gremlin on the Wing episode.

Jixby is one of the words in this post used over and over until you don't even know what the word means anymore, but in a good way.
